Kharmen Davis-Taylor was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana and is the daughter of Davis Law Office founder, S.P. Davis, Sr. and the late Sharon Dunnings Davis.

Kharmen was admitted to practice law in the state of Louisiana in 2010.

She graduated from Southern University and A & M College, receiving her Bachelors of Science Degree in Marketing with a concentration in Sales. Kharmen also graduated from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she received her Juris Doctor.

Kharmen has been practicing law in the state of Louisiana for almost 16 years and is a managing partner at Davis Law Office, LLC. In 2023, Kharmen and Davis Law Office, LLC were named ‘Top Attorneys’ by SB Magazine. Kharmen is married to Fredrick Taylor, a Lieutenant with the Shreveport Police Department and she is a member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
